I applied for few SA roles at AWS after getting the SAA certificate and some badges like the “WAF” and “Advanced Migration”. I also optimized my resume recently trying to match what AWS would look for, but I did not get any 1st call or screening interview!

If my company is deducting tax on reimbursements for example relocation, flight travel, mobile usage, etc. Then how to show in tax filing? bcoz as per my understanding it should not be taxable as I am using my money and company is refunding and no extra income. It's like I have already paid once and while refunding company again deducting. Please guide on this issue.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I got a job offer at GSA in Washington DC for their pathway program from GS9-GS12. I currently work in a private company and wanted to switch to federal government. The reason I wanted to switch is to get good person for my family because I'm still in the Reserve and would be able to buy time for my retirement. My wife doesn't why I'm leaving the private company. I bought my house in Iowa and I live my family. Just need advice. Thanks

Hey all. I and some coworkers are reservists. We are trying to get the reserve leave policy more in line with other NYC bank's and consulting firms, as the bank does almost the bare minimum for userra. Was hoping some of you all wouldn't mind sharing the highlights of your institutions reserve leave policy so I can present a benchmark.

I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?

I work at a medical device manufacturing plant as a training coordinator, I have a military background and a degree and am trying to advance but am feeling stuck. I am a literal jack of all trades, and am trying to get out of the hourly life, I’m working an average of 100 hour weeks and have been for at least the last 6 months.
