One is global, one is local. Jokes aside, I’ve heard local focuses more in sales while global is more delivery.
Within Global, the team you are in also makes a difference.
Global has both sales and delivery and includes regional career paths as well as capability specialization options. I’m local considering a transfer, so I’ve had a lot of convos on this - my global counterparts seem to get a lot more investment in training and have opportunities to work on the most transformational projects, which don’t often get sold in my market. I think it’s the difference between being part of a team that focuses on and prioritizes Salesforce exclusively (global) versus local that spreads investment across capabilities and doesn’t necessarily prioritize Salesforce.
