Hi Guys,
I had referred my friend in CTS, who joined in Feb 2022 & will complete 3 months (active payroll) on 15-May-2022. I received a mail confirming my referral acceptance.
Meanwhile, I have handed in my papers & am serving my notice period with my LWD being 23-May-2022. In this case, will I receive the referral bonus?

If you want to find some new wines one of our clients is a new online wine marketplace (Scoperta = discovery in Italian) and you can get flat shipping with first purchase in the flight club . Fun service if you want to try it . (We also produced a hilarious opera video on YouTube if you want a laugh) https://www.scopertawine.com/

There are a ton of people talking about wine on Instagram, tbh, so you can follow some of them. Some are generalists, talking about lots of wine, and some have a narrower focus, like on Bordeaux or champagne etc. That can help you with that side of learning about wine, and then you can develop a relationship with people at a good quality wine shop near you and ask them to make recommendations to you. Take the wine home and spend time tasting it, and take notes, so when you go back to the wine shop you can say “oh I really liked X, can you recommend something similar (in terms or grape or terroir or country of origin or whatever)”. Drinking wine (and paying attention to what you’re drinking!) will help you understand what you like, and that’s a great place to start, but it does take time, which is why I also recommend finding experts to listen to!
What has helped me is wine tasting sessions (make it a fun event with friends). Drink as flights. Compare and contrast. Start off getting 4-5 bottles of different types of wine, then get more specific with same varietals from different regions, old/new world, etc.
The more you taste - with intention - the more you learn.
Wine tastings
Find a local wine shop and give them a budget to build you a case
Winefolly.com has some great free resources to learn from and in the same visually driven style as the book.
Visit wineries or tasting rooms and try everything you can. Chat up the hosts, they’ll love to share their knowledge even if you don’t buy. If anyone seems pushy in trying to sell product, don’t return. The good ones will want to share their knowledge. Probably should avoid free tastings these days - those will be more about moving the product.
