Hi Fishes, Any senior staff engineer here, role associate project manager at Nagarro. I would like to know more details about project allocation and work you do. I recently got selected as one. I can see a lot of heat from developers against nagarro here but what about mid level management such as associate project manager!??
TIA

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If it really was a mistake, no better time than the present. It's going to look odd on your resume no matter what, so the fact that you figured out you made a mistake early and bounced back is not a huge deal. I just wouldn't make another move for a good number of years if you do this. While people do jump more now than in the old days, lots of quick jumps still doesn't look good.
May we know what’s causing your suffering? Moving to a new company and getting acclimated takes time. Some needs 6 months, some takes 2 years. What can be done is show initiative and spend some extra time to get through the ‘learning curve’. Esp in consulting, the learning curve is stiff and folks are expected to a certain extent to get through that curve faster than in the industry
I had the rug pulled from my initial project that was pitched to me when I interviewed. Ended up in a different type of project where the culture is extremely toxic. Have tried to roll off, but career manager keeps blocking it. Afraid if I stick around too long I’ll be too entrenched to roll off and only option will be to leave.
Also it’s widely known a good portion of the team is leaving the firm for this exact reason in January.

How long has it been? Why did you leave in the first place?
It’s been 6 months. Left because the project was coming to a close and there were no opportunities for promotion until at minimum the next cycle. Managed to secure a promotion and salary raise at another firm so I left.
