Recommendations for firms to look into in South FL? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale but am open to Boca or Miami. I'm a first year associate in ID (coverage issues) but really would prefer transactional work. More importantly though, I'm looking for companies who pay relatively well (doesn't necessarily have to be market), are open to remote/hybrid work, aren't sweatshops. Just landed as a PR in Canada a month back.
Been interviewing for front end dev - 5YOE. Had been with Deloitte USI as a Consultant back in India. Applying for big 4's and tech firms but seems like they have been taking forever to review the applications (2-3 weeks now for few since applied!)

Have one offer from CGI as Sr.Con for 105k. Does anyone know how good/not good is CGI in terms of work, culture, WLB, perks?

I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. Really struggling to pick up all of the slack from all of the colleagues that do have kids and feel like the expectation is that parents should turn off while the rest are working from 7am - 2am everyday to make up for it.

Therapy Scheduling Issues - I love my therapist but they are not able to schedule sessions on the weekend or Friday evening and I’ve missed 7/10 last sessions scheduled due to last minute work stuff. I am a new associate (1 month in mid-tier firm) and I struggle to get work to fill up the whole day. In honest time, i get about 3-5 billable hours a day.
