Just hit 125k net worth at age of 25. May not seem like a lot compared to my FAANG, MBB or IB friends, but definitely proud of myself. For all of you who are big savers but also investors - I have a decent bonus coming up and am trying to figure out how to invest it. Should be around 10-15k, I’ve already maxed my 401k and Roth at 19,500. 3k in HSA from last three years. Big believer in stocks and compound growth. Crypto scares me a bit even though I’m willing to take risks.

Received an offer to lateral to a big firm. The benefits package includes health, dental, disability etc. but no mention of their parental leave policy. I don’t recall my current job spelling that out either in my offer. Im not planning on having kids in the immediate future but I am curious of the policy at the new firm. Just got offered a remote job with a startup for $75k base + 2k stock options, and benefits (100% covered insurance, wellness, 401(K) (no match 🥲) and tons more, BUT I enjoy the company I’m at and the people. The company I’m at wants me to move to either NYC or SF. I would taking almost a 11% pay cut but at least I wouldn’t pay rent or get taxed NYC/CA tax since I’d be in Florida! Is this weird: while staying with my boyfriend’s family, I had to take a shower in the master bathroom. My boyfriend’s mom made me wait so she could clear out all of her shower and bath products from the ledges inside the shower.
