could mean either way. Next step could be more interviews and then they discuss. Or next step could be just them talking to each other and deciding not to proceed further. Based on this, it is hard to say. So, would suggest just relax and have a good weekend and try to not think about it too much.
Just wanted to say Go ASTROS!
Yes
I feel like it's a good sign. If they are speaking on "next steps" it usually eludes to a second interview.
Yes, there is a big chance that you will be moving to the next round. Make sure you ask when you will hear back so you also have a timeline in case you need a plan B or you don't like the offer. Remember that you are also interviewing them.
I second this approach. I’ve given multiple job interviews in the last two months. I used to be nervous wreck when I started out and then gradually became quite confident. I began asking managers when they would get back to me because I was interviewing at other places and needed to figure out my schedule etc. The best employers are transparent about next steps and time frames.
There very well could be. No way to know for sure until you hear back but hopefully it is good news! Best of luck to you.
