Just wondering about how is the WLB in HSBC account of Synechron? I am reading so much of pros and cons on Glassdoor and here. Some are saying the cons like Hire and fire are a FAKE news.

I have the highest offer in hand from Synechron with HSBC client. PLease help me make up my mind that I should join them or not?

I have another offer with LTI as well but just a marginal difference in pay, and Location being Mumbai. Should I choose LTI instead?

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid. I've only been here 8months & want to leave as I need the money. Should I start looking elsewhere even if I haven't been here for a year?

Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

Is the MBB name really worth it over Big4, T2, Boutiques in terms of exit opps?

Would love to hear from experienced hires who have insight into both types of exits (MBB vs other) to better comp and wlb (tech is ideal but any industry works).

I know type of case work factors heavily into opportunities but how much does the MBB name really open? Is that name recognition worth leveling down to grind for another few years?

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. I was just offered a sales consultant role at a spirit’s distributor 65K with potential to make 75K if I meet goals etc. My dream job @ Red Bull, Similar role but way more fun around the same range of $$ possibly slightly more ..am still waiting to hear if I made it to the final round. I have until Friday to respond and Red Bull said they would let me know IF I made it to the final round by Friday.. should I reach out to Red Bull if I have not heard by Wednesday that I need to make a decision?

I have been at this company for almost 4 years and in my current position for almost two years. This year in January , I was given a merit based raise due to my work contributions. In April, the company decided that they would raise the base salary for the position. This base salary is the same as my current salary. Even new hires with no tech background or degrees can now get hired and make the same amount as my current salary. Am I in the right to ask for a new salary?
