I ask if they have MLK Day off. No holiday, no me.
Commission rate and bonus structure tied to bringing in new clients and growing existing bonus.
Training/tuition assistance budget.
Evaluation period after 6 months.
permanent remote work if possible, vacation time, bonus pay, schedule or flexibility in hours of work, tuition reimbursement if that matters to you, 401k and stock sharing plans
I’m not sure if we have a bonus structure in place here as it is a small company, and there was no mention of that anywhere, but the bonus is tied to overall company performance and based on us hitting our annual goals.
Negotiations were conducted over a call after they provided me with a verbal offer.
I ask about the bonus structure. Vacation or relocation pay if you're moving. Right now, I would want to know if at least a hybrid schedule is doable, how flexible it could be if it's decided team by team or company-wide etc. If they're providing expense coverage for those commuting to the office still. Benefits, and 401k.

What has been the bonus structure you were able to negotiate?
Did you have to compromise anything else to receive bonus ?
Were overall negations conducted via email or on a call?
Annual Bonus, restricted stock, signing bonus and severance agreement.
Depends on seniority but I’d be asking for anything from 3 to 12 months pay for termination without cause. Some companies may make this is reciprocal i.e. you have to give them the same amount of notice if you decide to leave.
Best time to negotiate your exit is on the way in.
15-20% annual bonus, additional severance pay and health insurance coverage above the norm, signing bonus, 2-3 industry events to be expensed per year, and stock options if they are a public company.
At your leave, I would advise asking expensed industry events as they are learning opportunities. The others would be hard at an ad agency. Possibly ask about additional severance coverage too
