When networking a/following up on applications, is it fine to use Apollo.io and email hiring managers/recruiters directly first? Or is it better practice to message on LinkedIn first? I don't seem to get many responses on LinkedIn DM (and I only get 15 in mails a month). What’s been your experience? I don't personally see a problem with just emailing first, except that it might be flagged as an external sender and go to their spam. Any thoughts?
