Hello everyone!
Can anyone please explain the promotion process followed here and specially at LCCI? If there's any minimum criteria like X no of years in a particular level, etc. followed while checking eligibility of an employee?
And also - what's the hike/increment range usually at the time of promotion?
Eli Lilly and Company.
Any leads would be highly helpful.
Thank you!

Thankfully, my executives always get me my own room. It's not like it's coming out of their pocket, they expense it. What's the point of being cheap like that when it's not even your own dollar?
I'm sorry, did you say "he"?! I hope you're also a he; if not, that would be highly inappropriate and an HR nightmare.
That’s just crazy! Everyone should be entitled to their own hotel room if work is requiring them to travel.
I am female and i work for the vp of anti money laundering for a huge bank. I love my boss and sometimes her and i share rooms when we travel. She reminds me of Melissa McCarthy. However, when I worked for the CEO at my last company he was a 80yr old man and we were NOT sharing rooms. I guess it depends on the person.
That is a hard no! Travel is stressful enough & the job never stops. I’m not sharing my down time with anyone
So my response would be ‘if you need me to travel this is how I travel’
Even if you and your superior are both of the same sexual persuasion, it's still cringy.

When I worked in nonprofit, I was invited to our leadership retreat each year and roommates were a thing but that was due to limitations on actual space. Even if we wanted to have a single room, there just wasn't enough rooms for that. I purposely paired up with someone who would drive home for the night to sleep in her own bed (it was only a few hours away from the retreat site). Some people were really unlucky and actually had to share not only a room, but a bed. I have a hard no for that. They purposely chose people who are very good friends, because when you work in non-profit you become really close with people. But I don't care how close I am with my friends at work, I'm not sharing a bed with them.
Now where I'm at, if I had to travel with my executive and was told I would have to share a room with anyone, it would not be happening. I also would not be paying for that out of my own pocket. If they need me to travel, they will provide the appropriate accommodations. I'm honestly at that point of my life that if they demanded it, I would tell them they can just let me go, because it's not happening and that kind of environment is not for me.

They are a non profit with limited funding. They e been at that location for 40+ years and get a huge deal. To move would put them out of their price range so it won't happen.
If you’re female and he’s male, I can’t imagine that’d be kosher with HR
Nope, nada, no way!! I’ve traveled a good portion of my career with my execs and teams. I have NEVER been told I need to share a room. I’m still traveling and if this were ever the case, I’d forego the trip!!!
Unless your company is in financial crisis, that can be viewed as very inappropriate. The only time I had to share a room was early in my career (1990-ish) where our entire branch an an overnight event and similar level employees roomed together, but there were around 30 of us in total. But in today's climate, sharing a room is almost unheard of.
