Joined EY India a few months ago in tech consulting and have been working 12 hrs a day + 4-5 hrs on weekends and official holidays too. My project has literally 2 people (1 technical ie Me) and I'm myself new to the technology. I'm expected to make magic happen out of thin air and I don't know how I'm gonna survive here. Any advice?

I really want to pursue an MBA to try to pivot into a different industry but I’m getting so many (mostly older) people saying things like “ you should think about settling down” or “you should consider how an intense career is going to affect your future children” or “isn’t where you are good enough?” It’s really been bugging me because I feel like if I was a guy, I would probably hear much more supportive comments! Anyone else experience this?

So I am seeing this guy, and whenever we go out for dinner we split the bill 50/50. Like he doesn't even offer to pay. But when we go out for drinks after dinner he pays. He's currently doing his MBA so loans and told me that money was always tight when he was a kid so I get it, but sometimes it's hard not to compare to my ex who used to pay for everything when we went out. I just had a C section and am working with my doctor to finalize my medical certification for FMLA. I noticed that she's only recommending 8 weeks of leave for FMLA. This has me worried since I was hoping for 12 weeks. Has anyone had a similar situation? How did you negotiate for more time?
