Have an offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role but it seems like this one requires 2-3 days in the office - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I'm an adjunct professor. I make $35 an hour. But this is a non accredited subject. I believe for credited subjects, adjunct professors make 28.
I recently, until going full-time, was an adjunct at three different schools, and it really varies quite a bit. One private school was about 3800 for a day undergraduate class, and evening was about 3500. Another private school was around 2200, and a public school was 2300. These are the total contract pay amounts paid over the course of a semester for a 3-credit class. One is paid once a month, and the other two are paid twice a month. Adjunct pay is not usually stated as an hourly rate but rather as an amount per course.
Good question. How small are the colleges? I Googled the one near me (small-ish community college) and there were 150 Glassdoor reviews, so that's probably a good place to start. But if it's really, REALLY small, you might have a hard time finding accurate info.
You must have a friend or former colleague who is a current or former professor. I think it would depend on the location of the college. You should be able to get a salary range if you google it.

I would look for public colleges if they have the salary bands posted publicly
Best bet would be asking people in similar positions
