What was your agreed plan out of curiosity? I asked for 2 x wfh days for the first 3 months back from Mat leave. I knew I wouldn’t get that so negotiated down to 1 day per week. It’s been a lifesaver tbh. Adjusting to working mum life has been hard! I worked like crazy on those wfh days but I was able to do it on my terms - I could be alone which was the most important part for me
Yamamoto in Minneapolis. DM me if that wasn’t you already! Female CEOs get shit done 💪🏻
Check out W2O, healthcare focused....but a ton of moms both new and in senior leadership roles. They really care about the time off, flexibility, and that work/life balance (as much as I’ve seen in my agent life).

I haven’t found any agencies that will hire you when you go in asking for a wfh day or to leave at 5 to pick up the kids. In house is better for parenthood but I don’t like the corporate culture. Miss the agency culture and smart people who get strategy and advertising. Still looking for that unicorn of good creative, a 9-5 schedule, decent salary and time off. Tall order. Maybe freelance is the way to go?
ACD 1, I feel very similarly. Are you willing to give me flex after a few months that I’ve proven myself or that’s never an option? Very gray area and ultimately taking talented people who happen to be parents out of your recruiting pool.
