Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

That firm doesn’t exist. In most cases and given the nature of the profession, it’s entirely client and team dependent.
If there were such a thing as the chillest firm, then everyone wouldve flocked there already. Unfortunately, your experience and WLB is going to depend entirely on your engagement/client.
What LOB? The past 3 years have been never ending for us in tax

I’m in audit. It’s been nonstop. I can’t even find the time for PTO
There’s an off season?
It entirely depends on your engagements and team. I would encourage you to play your PTO better and schedule in advance. I’ve never heard of anyone getting PTO denied assuming your not asking for it last minute or always requesting a ton of time off during filing.
Not doing this for the referral bonus, but mid tier firms are pretty solid in the summer. Wipfli is where I work and I have had maybe 2 weeks over 40 hours since April? When I work a long day I take it off the Friday. Most weeks I work maybe an hour on Friday (sometimes not at all). Rated as a top performer every year and I’m maybe 50% chargeable? I’d say that’s pretty chill. It’s different exit opportunities, but if you’re in public for the long haul, top 10-20 firms seem to be the best wlb in my opinion.
Obviously Big4 are the worst but those from 5 - 20, all pretty much the same, give or take. Really depends on one's skill level and such.
I’m 9-4 M-TH and half day on Friday outside of busy season.
This person living the dream. Or really good delegator. Working banker hours, not IB. Lol
Book PTO before you get scheduled. If you are already scheduled, pick two weeks that are at least 3 months away and request off. When you go on PTO, make it clear you'll be out of country (regardless) and can't work.

Get out of audit. I’m working 40 to 45 hours year around in STS.

PwC COE has been super chill for me each summer. Have a few off cycle clients, scoping with my 12/31 clients and filler enhancements work. Same cohort pay as core assurance. Transfer opportunities if you don’t want to get parked at senior manager forever. If you want a referral, DM me!

Maybe it depends on location but I've heard hours at PwC COE can be brutal year round
