I applied with EY for a Senior Manager role I had my first stage interview with a senior manager, which I thought went well as I got the partner interview 2 weeks later, and said I'll be contact within 10 day HR. This did not happen so I chased up. Today I received feedback from HR stating that the senior manager, who would have been my peer, said I didn't have enough experience. But the partner who I would have been working under did like me.
Is this normal with EY recruitment

I think cokinos is mostly construction law.
Peckar and Andrews Myers have excellent construction lit.
Gray Reed is a solid full service firm.
Cokinos is heavy construction lit too.
Gray Reed and maybe Nelson Mullins are the only two that I even recognize as being worth mentioning. The only other name on this list I know is Thomson Coe and they are almost entirely ID and pay pretty good for ID but poor relative to most other practice areas (like 90k starting?)
Gray Reed’s oil and gas practice is great.
Yikes
These firms are all very different. If I had to pick, I’d say Gray Reed, although AM for real estate and Coninos/Peckar for construction. Gray has broadest practice lineup and is strongest in TX above the others. NM and Fox just don’t have the presence here.
Seems like an ID heavy bunch. Nelson Mullins may be marginally above the rest from a national perspective, but their Texas offices may still fall in with the pack
Nelson is far better from national perspective, but I believe they are mostly, if not all, products liability in Texas. Toyota is a big client
I thought only sheehy and Thompson were Id of those firms?
