Which is better ... Consultant role in product based SAAS company (Implementation role) or the same role in a consulting firm where you handle the same products.

Hi everyone! First time posting here. I am in a good sales role at my current company but it’s my first solid AE role in the tech industry. I am interested in exploring other opportunities as I know there are a lot out there, but is anyone else worried about the current economic state? I’m worried that if I find a new position for a new company and the economy going to sh** that I am worried about job security. Anyone else feel this way?

Hi, my I485 is pending. Priority is July 2014 EB3. I-485J is for a software developer but I moved to different role (HR) within the same company. How will it affect my GC processing? How do your exit opps differ after 4 years at MBB vs 2 years at MBB and 2 years at a UMM?

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

Is it worth pursuing a management position coming from being an engineer? What is your opinion on trying to go this route?
