Hi, I just got an offer for a rotational program post grad. For the most part, I will be working at the city where my family and SO is at but they mentioned that I’ll have to relocate for 6 months to another location. Honestly, I don’t really want to do that, I would’ve been fine if it were frequent visits (rather than moving). Any thoughts or advice on how I should negotiate this? Or should I just accept the offer and negotiate this later when they finally ask me to relocate?

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting. Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?
