Who else here thinks that this world is messed up? A driver from my company got into a car crash because a guy in a SUV tried to rear-end him... fortunately the driver is fine

I hear you. It's unfortunate but incidents like this are just part of the social contract. We put a lot of faith in people to act correctly so that we can all reap the benefits of utilities and services, but there will always be some bad actors out there

I'm glad to hear the driver is fine. There are all types on the road and thankfully, most do their part to keep everyone around them safe. Sadly, not all.

Something similar happened to me a couple of years ago and that's when I discovered that the company's health insurance had been inactive for the last 3 months. Fortunately I found people to help me defray the costs, but it was a tough time. I hope your driver is ok and can recover soon.

Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high. She has been under a lot of stress although she had many great networking calls with people. I wanted to help but can't identify what she can improve on.

Additional Posts in Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Does anyone have a good way of managing customer profiles? Working in logistics I speak with a lot of different customers, carriers, warehouses, brokers, etc and I am looking for a way to organize the notes I have for each one that I can filter through. My company most likely won’t purchase new software but we do have basic Microsoft programs. TIA !

If you had to guess, what will logistics and supply chain look like in the next 10 years?

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?
