I am HS teacher covering for a MS teacher that uses Eureka. Not really sure what's going on....
No one does 🤣
I'm on my 4th year of teaching it.
I don’t really like it to be honest. No time for groups and no differentiation. No one knows how to use it and my system has been using it for the past 6 years.
We use it; it has some good questions but overall, NO I do not care for it. There's really only 1 type of assessment questions (constructed response). It does not give enough variety to fully cover all standards. You will definitely want to supplement this curriculum.
Yes MC is an assessment tool. It’s great & does auto grade. And lists mastery level by standards so you know what to review. I use it for daily exit tickets & quizzes & tests. The questions are rigorous & aligned with TCAP standards. Also has all question types: mil choices, mul select; fill in blank. Everything you’ll need. Word problems too. I’ve used many assessments types over the years (discovery ed; mist; mica; too many to recall) & many text books Saxon; envisions; eureka...but MC so far is my favorite.
