Plan to cancel here. Replacing CSR with Amex Platinum to get the 125k bonus. It has a higher fee but with the $200 Uber Credit, $240 Digital Entertainment credit, $200 airline credit, and free clear membership ($109 value for delta/United members) I am already past break even before factoring in the $200 hotel credit or $100 Saks credit. That compared to the net $250 annual fee need to overcome with CSR.
Thanks M1 for pointing that out. I pulled a similar deal getting my 125k bonus but didn’t think to try that on referring too.
For those canceling, are you leaving behind/stockpiling a decent amount of Ultimate Rewards points for future use, planning to redeem for travel with the CSR prior to canceling, etc?
I haven’t decided yet, but I’m leaning towards either canceling CSR completely or canceling CSR + applying for CSP for the points promo.
I say “or” because I’ve had a Chase Freedom (the OG) for over a decade, so I don’t necessarily have to use all my points either way since I’ll maintain an active account.
What’s holding me back from canceling CSR is (1) wanting to use points through Chase travel for honeymoon plans and (2) the potential of traveling for work within the next year
If I were to cancel CSR, can I then reapply next year without any repercussions?

Keeping CSR given $300 travel credit + Peloton Credits + DoorDash credits + DashPass membership + rental car insurance + $0.015 redemption rate.
I get a lot of UR points from churning Chase biz cards and the CSR allows me to easily cash them out for a good rate.
Downgraded CSR to Freedom Unlimited.
Opening up CSP for 100k bonus, going to upgrade to a CSR again in 12 months.
Opening Amex Plat for 125k bonus + lounge access. May cancel after 12 months depending on how I like it.

Yes, your points can be redeemed at the "highest rate" across all your UR cards (because you transfer your points to this card / account)
Not sure yet if I will use PYB or transfer to a travel partner. I have until October to decide.
