Get a standing desk instead
I have a Steelcase leap but what fixed my aches and pains was getting a sit-stand desk and standing more often than sitting.
Good point. I do need to stand more!
Gamer chairs suck, without exception. Get a HM Aeron if you truly want to sit forever with good posture and barely feel it. Though I agree with the above poster, weight lifting and flexibility work are really gonna make a big difference
Have one and have never been sore from sitting 8 hours a day since working from home.
You can pick up HM Aeron used for a good deal. There are multiple sizes so you can get a good fit.
It’s about core work / strength, not the chair. Sorry.
Fair point, I am overweight. Could have something to do with sitting 12 hours a day and getting 90% of my meals from delivery since COVID started.
Gamer chairs are mostly gimmicks, get a nice office chair with lumbar support. I got Sidiz which is a nice chair for a slightly lower price point than some of the other high end brands.
Ball chair w/I base.
I worked with an analyst a few years ago that sat on a big inflatable ball all day. Looked super uncomfortable to me but maybe worth a try?
Try Autonomous... super awesome lumbar and leg support.. good head support too for the in between rest..
They let you rest at D?
I bought myself a Noblechair Hero which also has lumbar support. A bit expensive but the best investment for my home office so far
I bought a footrest which helped poison my legs properly. I’m small so they normally hang
