They do that because ducks are willing to work for non-SAG pay.
Not any more
I always relate them to oil clean up
Rising Star
I’m 31 and agree, I always associate them with that.
The demographic they’re speaking to still remembers.
I guess
The ducks signed a lifetime contract.
Aww I like the ducks.
This is the “big, beautiful oil” administration. Give it another year. Crude oil ducklings will be relevant again. 👍
I always related dawn to the ducks, but I grew up during those big oil spills in the 2000s so I would see those commercials. Also low key dawn is really good for that kind of stuff. I use it around my kitchen and it does get everything up. And the power wash (which you can make at home) is so great for laundry when you have bad stains.
Power wash is great for cleaning white shoes too
If you go back and watch the commercials, it seems like they actually covered ducks in oil at some point to clean it off with Dawn. It’s not all footage from oil spill clean ups. The first round, yes. But after that, I dunno.
Not actual oil. It was obviously a black, water-soluble, oil-like-looking substance for the shoot.
