Switch your job or get a transfer to Bangalore. There are hundreds of better companies and opportunities outside if you start looking actively. Such a toxic culture does not worth your time or the mental agony it is causing to you. If the system is rotten , you have two options 1. Ignore it or 2. Accept it and move on for better opportunity.
Almost all the good product based/captives will be fine with 60-90 days of notice period as they know the probability of joining the candidates to these orgs will be more unlike service based companies. I agree most of the service based companies prefer candidates who can join early as there are less chance of candidate rebuffing the offer at last moment. The key is to have patience ,increase network through linkedin etc and keep trying everyday.
Again, there can be n no of reasons to ask for an internal transfer. You can say you have close family members there or some other personal reason.
Same experience by one of my friends. She was worried.. I couldn't believe such work culture in an MNC..
I think you have joined Accenture earlier, now it is 90 days.. Her manager was not in a mood to give her job confirmation in time.. At that time corona was at peak.. Even companies were firing employees.. Nothing she was only in stress. As per her saying the manager was biased to a man with some common characteristics.. She was just saying.. Woh jaake kaan bhar raha hai manager ka..kind of chugli..Hum screen share karke usko kaam bata rahe hainn.. Still usko sab efficient samajh rhe hain.. Mujhe yaha confirmation tak nhi mil rahi hai. She struggled a lot and finally got transferred to bangalore internally..
Agreed, now they are bullying, Beyond levels. I suggest kindly talk to them in cool friendly manner. N explain ur issue.
It's so difficult for a woman in her late 20's to do it without any clear future..in a haze..and thanks for listening:)😊💜
Raise it with HR, Madam. Don't just keep silent, expose them by raising to the highest level possible. If not then another person coming in your place after you leave would suffer.
I have done it,documted ,sent across emails to HRs, SDLs .. everyone...no one cares! They smile and say , you have other options outside too .
Mumbai is the best in this case. Supportive environment and no biased things. People love working in Mumbai.
I am at client site. No UST offices in Mumbai. But it has in Pune.
Which community sir?
Won't mention the name but people are pretty biased. And also start talking in local language in meetings, deliberately laughing at the person who is from another background. Not a professional behaviour at all, dear sir.
I have worked in few non-native state, and can tell u, it's common. U can fight it, or ignore it. Chose the easy way.. sir
It's not just the bias. If you carefully read the first two lines- it's actually serious corporate bullying I'm facing. Subordinates, supervisor, peers. People who promised growth over mails have exit. Indirectly pointing towards me and enacting the way I talk. Even personal matters getting deliberately pulled up and joked about later in a meeting. During WFH i have my laptop and can only "ignore" till they don't drag it...sir... It's a serious issue. And I am in no mood to simply badmouth a company :)
