Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.

OP if you are a M and Seniors are making more than you, maybe it’s because you don’t know what inverse correlation means.
Different skills, different entry points, different cities... supply and demand 101.
Also belief that new hire is better than existing ones in the company
Not belief ^^. A market requirement to capture new people. If you and I make the same with similar skill sets at different companies, I generally need a premium to move over or else it is t worth the hassle
Inverse correlation seems far-fetched. There are overlaps for various reasons which are for instance different billing rates, different background, different market rate for skills, different career trajectory and aspirations, etc.
AM1: My compensation is not related to what you should be getting. Mkt is broad term based on what sample I am using . We should understand what it means
Geo and tenure matter at some firms as well. A Senior Senior in New York may make more than a new Manager in St. Louis.
^^^ and experience
I don’t follow this question. If consultant comp is 1x, sc is around 1.5x, m is around 2.5x, sm is around 3.5x. How is it inversely correlated?
