Yes. Bad idea.
It's 2021. Literally nothing is weird anymore.

Yes. Unprofessional.
I’ve had phone interviews in the car but I wouldn’t do it if I had to be on video

Yep - if there is any other possibility (and I assume there is: pull over and find somewhere) then don’t do this

I have done calls in cafes etc before: blur the background and do that
I think it would be ok if you are parked and blur the background. Sit in the back seat so the steering wheel is not in the way. I took interviews from some odd places at one point while I was trying not to let a former employer know I was interviewing, but they would not permit WFH (pre pandemic days). Hotel lobbies, parked cars, phone interview sitting in the office stairwell. Do what you gotta do to get the job!
As long as you are parked and the camera stays still, it is fine. I've done interviews where the person keeps moving the camera or puts the camera in the cup holder. That is not OK. If the camera is on the dashboard or close to left eye level, stays still the whole time, and you are parked it is fine.

Yes. Park at a Starbucks or something
Wow I’m kinda of surprised here. Not everyone had a nice setup at home so I wouldn’t be put off if someone took a video call from the car
Oh while driving would be 100% rude, I was thinking op was parked. Definitely don’t be driving op!
I know this feeling because I didn’t have a fancy home office and did zoom calls at my dining room table but the blur feature did the trick during my video interview.
Not at all. People have lives, especially around the holidays. We just hired someone who took an interview in his car while he was on a family vacation and hired another one who took his interview while at his son’s golf lesson. Just dress up your top half.
Nah, just don't do it while driving (safety first!) and keep the camera steady. Use headphones to ensure that the audio quality is good and to minimize background noise. It might make for an easy ice breaker if you're asked about it -- just make sure you have a good/amusing story/reason available!
Not at all. I had at least 3 Zoom interviews in the car, and received an offer after each one of them. It may show you are in demand at your current job but looking for other opportunities to grow.
I wouldn't find it weird (unless you're driving while interviewing). But there are enough people who would think something about it that I'd never do it.
