I am about to receive an offer from EY GDS for a role of a Business Analyst_Banking finance (Principal Consultant) with a CTC of 27 LPA (inclusive of 10% variable).

I am having 10.5 YOE. Is this grade relevant which they have offered, taking my YoE into account? How much i can negotiate upto in CTC front? I mean the highest slab of Principal consultant?

Hi, I had finished my technical and managerial round on May 25th and 26th with PWC. The manager did mention that there would be another in-person round in the PWC Bangalore office. I reverted asking them to provide 40% hike on my cctc or 20% hike on fixed cctc and wfh option.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
