Have never been in FDD so can’t quite speak to that, but I do have an audit background.
Engagements typically last a few months. Companies will try to emerge from BK or restructure as quickly as possible because RX is quite expensive, plus, there’s often a liquidity crunch
Not really. It’s more like banking where there are a bunch of ad hoc deliverables. You’ll mostly have deliverables to creditor groups rather than to the company itself (speaking from debtor side perspective).
I would say so. On the debtor side, you’re often working as interim management and pulling the strings / calling the shots rather than gently guiding as I imagine Advisory roles do.

What this guy said, Rx work is all over the place. One day it’s cash flow management and the next is operational strategy in a newly built company. Very similar excel/ppt skills though
