How do you not receive a raise in four years and stay working there? That's a crazy long time to just not do anything about a major issue.

What job do you have? Are you unionized?
Sure. Then where is your union? Where is your collective action to get an annual raise? I've never heard of a union being so... complacent? Malfeasant? Useless.... etc.

Be an expert at everything, but not enough of one to get paid for it. Definitely feels familiar.
This is why I refuse to go in house.
I've been in-house for 12 years and I've never heard of going 1 year without a raise, let alone 4. That's insane.
