Working at my perm job and it’s quite chill thinking if I should take a contractor job on the side? Will disclose to my employer but just wondering has anyone done this?

It's my starting year year at KPMG Global with 10.5 months till this September . I was eligible for this year's hike . Got a 2 rating. Will my hike percentage / bonus be comparatively less than the folks who have more than years of experience with 2 rating ?

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.

I got a job offer as a Tax Associate at PwC. I want to negotiate the salary but the HR said he cant just increase my salary since that would be unfair to other associates. The only thing he can do is to ask to compensation team and if the team approve, every in-coming associates would get a salary increase. Is that true?
