Perkins Cove is absolutely gorgeous
Thank you! Do you work there? If so is it a “phone” heavy job?
Depends on what you value… you’ll get great state benefits at the AGO and probably interesting substantive work. At Perkins you’ll have high volume, really interesting and big clients, but probably less substantive work to do.
Perkins is nice but not as nice as it used to be. Workload is now quite heavy. Seattle office is moving to new space that is beautiful, and the people are nice. Perkins has great benefits—lots of PTO, personal days, good health insurance, retirement benefits, sabbaticals and Peloton, backup care, etc. two day a week in office requirement. I would prob pick Perkins if both roles were paralegals, BUT being a paralegal is a better career path overall. Legal assistants at Perkins are generally somewhat happy but not totally. Good luck!
