Good luck with that. The corporate pipsqueaks that will be screening your application want nothing to do with experience, actual knowledge, common sense, problem solving and people skills. They are looking for letters after your name. Look for a smallish up and coming local firm, security or an startup that is taking off. Also bail bonds and law firms, you must know a bunch of the latter.
That’s going to be difficult at a large corporation where they usually hire college graduates. As for 1811 positions, most require a degree although I had a friend who was able to internally hire to 1811 from another position in the agency but this was over 25 years ago. I believe Air Marshalls do not require a degree but that is an 1801 position, not 1811 so technically not investigative. However, it will get you into the federal retirement system and make you eligible for lateral move to other agencies so you will have a better chance that way. As far as degree, was your academy accredited? Like do you get college credits for attending? If so, you might be able to transfer those credits to a school that has a very low matriculation requirement (like just 1 year) and you should get the easiest bachelors degree you can get (such as criminal justice).
I will have to look into those options. I figured if all else fails, I will just make up the missing credits to get my Associates and go into my Bachelor’s.
