The best part about all of this is that I'm moving into a condo tomorrow morning. Was really in need of a good night sleep to prep for the move. Tomorrow should be fun 🤤
AA will give you 0. It's AA.
I left my client in Manhattan at 3:30 pm. It is 1 am, and I am sitting on a JFK runway.
We landed at 4:15 am local time. Supposed to have landed at 8:15 pm
After moving up to #1 in the line for departures, the pilot just announced that JFK has suspended departures again. This is unreal
Hey, at least you made it home! Unfortunately since this was due to weather, AA won't (and shouldn't) provide any compensation.
We were delayed an hour at the gate. Got on the plane and sat for three hours before they returned to the gate and forced us to deplane. Got back on the plane after an hour at the gate and have since been sitting on the tarmac for another 3 hours. Good grief.
What's a reasonable expectations for a voucher? $500? $1000...?
What's your status? They'll give you miles.
I'm at LAX about to board my flight in the other direction. This post is now making me nervous.
Just landed from LAX, the way in was super choppy.... saw several people setting up shop for the night on the floor
Oof. Our pilot pointed out all the planes that were grounded bc our taxi took a long time... feel bad for you all that blows
I'm on the flight to Austin. Apparently the weather is the worst to the south of NY so that's why our flight has been stranded for so long
The way we landed (circled than ultimately landed from south) I'd never seen before - the final approach (20-25 min) was all done 2000-5000 ft or so below the cloud cover and was choppy as hell. Flight crews didn't do their final sweep prior to landing so trash was everywhere lol
Worst? Is this your first year traveling?
I got stuck in Miami last night. Without asking Delta offered me 20k.

Lolol OP you on the flight to LAX? This is the WORST.
@PwC2 are you headed to Austin as well?
You won't go anything you are delayed because of weather.
@OP I was flying to LA. Landed at 4:15 am local time as well
