I did they Denver to Boulder commute for two and a half years to work at a small shop. Previously to that I lived in Boulder (and a few other places like Estes and Louisville). For me, I loved having access to Boulder but hated living there. Denver just had better apartment stock, more stuff to do and more diversity.
As soon as I stopped living Boulder I started appreciating it more. I’d run or happy hour after work to avoid traffic and would often use the “bike/bus” routes to commute. The Boulder “vibes,” (white, rich and entitled) get pretty thick, but once I had some distance I wasn’t as critical.
That all said, Denver is a great city. Tons of art, lots of live music and still excellent access to mountains/nature.
Denver unless you have a family and kids.
You won’t want to commute from Denver everyday honestly it can be a warring drive to do everyday.

I did the Denver to Boulder commute for 6 months. I made it work but it wasn’t great and I prob wouldn’t have done it much longer. It feels extra long those nights you work late and when a storm is coming in and you want to get home quickly
Bus is great if you have regular hours. That’s not typical in advertising.

Would love to know why!
Boulder mostly because if you don’t have to commute, don’t. Both are great places to live though.
