Would you accept a job that offered ~50% hike over current salary? For context, I enjoy my current job and workplace - great culture, flexibility, work life balance albeit at a slower promotion path. I am very comfortable and have a good brand for myself. The new company is equally big and strong brand, but slightly less flexible (3 fixed days in office, no policy to work from outside the country for a few days etc). the role is similar function but in a different industry. Benefits are same.

Yes. Because all the things you mentioned you have at your current company can change except for them paying you up to 50% more. I’ve just learned the hard way it’s better to leave when you’re in a good spot than wait until you desperately want to leave.

Absolutely second this. Had to learn this the hard way too…made it a pretty rough year. Glad you got out D1, hope you found something that fits well.

Accepted a job offer with 40% more and basically had all the same things you listed.
