Sometimes people want to add after they leave the job
I make an effort to add my manager and their manager early on. When someone requests, I accept. Otherwise, I add everyone else I know after I leave the job.
Yes, add everyone and say hello once in a while. You never know when they may be helpful to you or the other way around
I try to keep up with adding people on LinkedIn, and I usually add coworkers on LinkedIn to keep up with them and whatnot
Never do that..

Despite people here thinking you are outrages for not adding current coworkers. I have to agree with you that there are jealousy people around. Maybe observe them for a bit before connecting would be helpful

Yes? I find it weird when people don’t add me back

Likewise! I tend to add people after some time in the team or before I resign. I don’t understand why people do not want to connect back
Yes, I generally add someone as soon as I meet them for the first time. Makes it less awkward too if they’ve seen I’ve been stalking their profile before/after meeting lol
Definitely.
Would love to get their recommendations too
