Whenever a partner says anything, I stare deep into their eyes, gasp, and then tell them "that is the wisest thing I have ever heard"
OP: If this is what stresses you out, I am not sure what you would do if you really screw up.
You’re fine. Quit stressing. If you had something valuable to contribute you would have done it and spoken up.
Bide your time. Don’t kiss asses. Make great plays.
Or you’re just drunk on a Saturday night and gaslighting is for attention. In which case drink more.
Is that a question, statement or what? No context. How can you expect anyone to respond?
You’re fine...chill out
If you were a partner, would you yourself give a shit in such a situation?
Fired.
OP, I have no words for you
OP you’re fine. But generally show you’re engaged when Partner is there because I’m the end it will pertain to you
No one cares
The only reason you would be in deep shit is if because the content of the discussion was relevant to the work you are doing. If it is likely someone would reference the conversation later, the one where you were working, then that does not bode well for you. If the discussion was banter that is to never be referenced, then not so much. Aside from that - there are the optics of you being disengaged albeit for productive work. It’s a fine line but one where I would consciously disengage from the conversation and let people know the clock is ticking and you need to focus your attention elsewhere.
I assume there is additional info coming. Hopefully?
Cont. the conversation was not related to work but I wonder if had offended the partners by not listening in their conversation or making eye contacts. The partner seems to be talking to the whole room but the conversation is directed to the other partner. I feel I might have made a bad move
And want some partner inputs and remedies
