I'm actively looking for Frontend Development roles and my tech stack is Angular. My current CTC is 10 LPA, YOE : 2 and im expecting 40-50% hike. I am able to clear the interviews but companies are not coming forward due to budget issues. Am I expecting too much here ? Can you please list out some companies which can offer my expected CTC ?

Currently in the process of interview for the role of a Technical Writer at Amazon (Seattle). Before the virtual onsite loop, I have been asked to provide an expected salary including base, bonus, and equity.

Based on my search, I am expecting a base salary of 105 - 120K. However, I am not sure about the bonus and equity. Any thoughts?

It has been almost 2 weeks since I joined KPMG Global Services, but I have not been assigned any project yet. They are telling again there will be client interviews. What the hell is this? I mean I just cracked the interview to join KGS. And now again why do I need to attend interview? What happens if someone cannot crack client interview?will he not get project and will be asked to leave?

Okay so I’m a newly licensed attorney in a very conservative part of TX. I just got my first job offer and I was worried at first thinking that I was in “Trump” territory, but I tested the waters in my interview and spoke about police injustices and how prosecutor’s job is not only to protect victims, but also defendants from police injustices. I have to let them know by tomorrow, but thoughts on if this is a good career move for someone who wants to work in transactional work-RE or Bankruptcy?

I am an incoming third year associate in an AmLaw 20 firm at New York. Although I do enjoy the work, I’m constantly questioning myself and my abilities. The work hours are quite bad too. For questions as to why you are looking to leave your current firm.. I am looking to move because for some reason I am hand-held a lot and given simpler tasks, so I am getting bored and want more challenging / much more fast paced environment. Also kind of bored because I am on one project for a long time and I want exposure to variety of projects. Is this a fair answer or would I be seen as arrogant? Is there a better way to frame my answer?

Let's say I can't get a product or marketing job in tech, but I could get in via sales or customer success. Does working in those roles pigeonhole you, or is it easy to switch later? If you take a job as a customer success mgr for ads, or as a partnership mgr for learning solutions for industry X, are you going to get stuck in those products (ads, learning solutions), roles (CS, sales/partnerships), or target industry (X)?
