What are employee referral bonuses where you work for a senior associate? Looking to test the waters at other firms but would like to also see if I can work out deals with friends on splitting a bonus
Urgent: Wanted to understand key differences between EY India and EY GDS. I know generic differences but which is better along the lines of: 1. Financial growth opportunities (hikes/bonus) 2. Duration to stay in the same role (example would I have to stick to same client for multiple years or when can I switch client) 3. Senior Management 4. WLB 5. Is it easier to move from India to GDS or vice versa? Getting Tech Consultant Senior 1 in GDS vs Data Science Senior in EY India. 5YOE/Data Science

Just called my Silicon Valley friend who married a VP in tech, she’s a really good friend of mine so I share everything with her and told her my salary. She said it’s nothing 🤦♂️ and it makes me wonder why we all so underpaid in big 4

What is the salary for a Senior associate at Alvarez and Marsal's Turnaround and Restructuring practice in the US (currently based in another country, potentially might shift there) If you could please mention the breakdown of base + bonus, since I am aware that bonus ranges can vary a lot TIA!
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
Got my sign on bonus paid today. 46% withheld by tax. That is high! Is it because bonus is withheld at a higher tax rate regardless of what my tax bracket is?
Interested in hearing more about the strategy work at Deloitte, re- culture, work, and compensation from a POC POV. Heard a couple folks say Deloitte is the way to go, but would like more info. Thanks

Hi! I have around 13 months of exp in LTI. My current project assignment gets over by December. And I want to change role after 18 months. Is it a good idea to continue and jump to another project in the middle ? Or its better to sit on the bench until that happens? If latter is the case, how do I ask my manager to be benched after my assignment? I'm not sure how benching works. Do I get salary? Please help me understand

As a consultant who is not looking to go back to consulting (B,M,BCG) and making $106K now, is a MBA worth it or is it better to work my way up within my company to get the $$$$?
Partners and future partners, if you made the salary you are currently making annually, and through increasing client fees and gaining efficiencies through technology, nobody worked more than 40 hours a week, would you be ok with that or would you think you are leaving money on the table and would want to get more and increase hours to 45-50? My main question is if we could achieve 40 hour weeks would you be satisfied or will you want to get hours up to what you’re used to?
Anyone have first hand experience working at Ryan, LLC? Pay/Culture/Leadership/Diversity etc..
Ladies, I know Deloitte has 16 week parental leave. What’s the policy for your company ( BCG, Bain, McKinsey, PWC, Etc)? Thanks.
All- I have some friends who work at Bain and the more I hear about the place, the more I want to eventually work there. The issue is that my credentials aren’t the best. I will have an MBA from a T15 college in about 2 years time, I have 6 years of experience in analytics consulting, mostly at small firms and startups. I guess I wanted to ask the golden question, do I really have a chance at getting into Bain? If so, how should I plan this out?
Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry. How much does it slow down (or speed up) your career if you chose to be a generalist i.e. not specialize in any one area. Do MBB still hire general consultants or is focus squarely on experience?
