Hello all, I am learning DSA on scalar. My only dream company is Microsoft .for me package and level doesn't matter. Just development role so minimum sde 1. And optional if possible wfh. I have 7 years of experience in DOTNET. I am NOT much confidence in DSA. So I need help and guide and support how can I join Microsoft. Right now possible? as I am already learning DSA and not much salary requirements. So can they take me as sde 1. Any view and guidance help to impossible to possible.

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.
C3.ai, Inc.
Feeling grateful today. 🥺

No.
Definitely not before you have the offer in hand
I wouldn’t assume anyone above your level doesn’t know. Word gets around, most people are not all that good at keeping info to themselves
A1 normal for us too. Lot of unhappy analysts who have mentioned looking at other opps and such but we dont broadcast it
Slightly related question: all the associates (second years) in my firm talk about wanting to leave. I may have mentioned to 1-2 closer associate friends that I’m looking - I know many are interviewing and somewhat open about it. Then again our class is really close and we are generally miserable. Anyone above our level however doesn’t know. Is that kosher? Sounds like it isn’t normal from the above responses...
D1- Yeah that’s fair. **Assuming a smaller portion
Yeah I meant along the lines of Associate1. Seems like similar themes across firms
OP tbh I kinda regret doing so - would caution you. Word does get around, feels uncomfortable even among the majority of the associate class. Then again it’s mitigated by my firm culture - EVERYONE at my firm complains about leaving that eventually we stop taking word of mouth seriously but would still caurion
Depends on the relationship
I would caution against it, because such things often have a way of getting out, even when shared in confidence. Your downside professionally outweighs the upside personally of being able to commiserate with colleagues.
