Yeah....

I started at a company 4 months ago. Remote position. Didn’t receive equipment or access until 2 months in. Boss rarely hits me up. No training or projects. Other than 1 report I send daily, I am sitting all day, waiting. Big company. Pretty sure I was a diversity hire and in comparison to my peers, under-qualified. I’m blessed bc salary is great and remote role, but not challenged and if ever a lay off - I’d for sure be on list. I can do personal things and side hustle, but what would you do?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?

My district has finally gone 1-to-1. Is there a good app or website that I could use to have students submit answers anonymously while going over problems in class? I did this last week using Kahoot to go over a state testing review packet. It was great because I could see how many got the right answer and move on if no one missed the question. However, I would like to do it without having to create something in advance. I hope this doesn't sound confusing.

Does anyone know a great 7th grade math workbook? Our school system does not buy the students books. I’ve taught 6th grade math for 20 years and have made all my notes, worksheets and and examples, but I’ve been assigned a seventh grade math class and don’t have enough time to get all of that ready. I feel like I’ve spent so much money on Amazon and TPT but it never ends up being what I want. It’s usually too easy. I would be grateful for any ideas, suggestions or actual workbooks names. Last week I had an interview with Infosys, it didn't go well as per my expectations but i was able to answer most of the questions asked by the panel and they said I will get the feedback from HR team but it's been more than one week and I didn't get any update on this. Yesterday I also wrote an email to the HR who scheduled the interview but still no update.

Does anyone else feel that the more content someone puts in their LinkedIn headline, the more full of it they are? I say this as someone with a bunch of stuff lol but at least it’s all at one company and accurate.
