I'm a Java developer building products in networking domain. I'm strong in converting requirements into design and building products from scratch. I'm spending 12 hours everyday at work, unable to spend any time on brushing up algorithms.
I'm not happy with the money that I make for the efforts that I'm putting in, want to switch to good product company. I wish I get more time to learn and prepare for interview. Just putting my thoughts here.

2 weeks ago I was interviewed by Accenture and the interview went so well that the 4 rounds happened all in one single day. They told me that I am selected and that I will receive the offer letter within 2 days. But it's been 2 weeks now, I have neither received the offer letter nor there is any communication from them. I tried calling the HRs who were calling me for the interview timings, but they are not picking up my calls.
Any idea what happened or what should I do?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Scenario: baby coming in January and have an offer to lateral. Current firm gives 12 weeks of parental leave. New firm wants decision by next week. Would like to give a few weeks notice to current firm about leaving but need the entire parental leave. Parental leave can be taken at either firm but importantly, need the full time off and not work at all. What to do and when to do it (ie provide notices etc.). Thanks!
