I also think we should be able to beat TS out of people for more stuff

They also want to eliminate jury trials so good luck getting justice in 🇬🇧

There are many countries that don’t use juries like the Netherlands and Germany.

Yes, but have you seen the actual human judges? They have to pledge allegiance to far-left ideology to get the job.

My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
