All my school/college friends who are healthcare workers and have had the vaccine have posted vaccine selfies, or at least status updates that they have had it.
I'm feeling left out. What's the equivalent thing to post for an auditor? Selfie with the SPLOCI?

Sure. Post a pic of your paystub versus theirs.
/sarcasm.
They are essential workers and 100% deserve the vaccine vs you. I can’t tell if you are just out of touch or if this is a humor post.

It's not that I want to cut ahead of them to try out experimental mrna therapy (although it does sound cool)
It's that I have no idea what to post on the 'gram

Or you could go back to school to be a healthcare worker if you really feel that left out.

Alternate idea - take a break from social media and see if that helps.

I feel bad for some of my friends in healthcare as one of the major hospital systems in my area is requiring the vaccine for all levels of employees. They are also pushing them to post daily journals and pics of them getting the vaccine. A few have left for but many have sucked it up and got the vaccine.

I personally am not scared of the vaccine but don’t believe this should be forced on employees

😂😂😂

You’re an auditor, they save lives. There is no equivalent, they put themselves at risk for a long time to save unknown people’s lives. I’m glad our frontline workers are getting vaccinated.

Not saying the work we do is any less important but... ya know saving lives is 🚀🚀🚀🚀

Damn so we save lives? I joined for the rocket emojis 🚀🚀

Fellow Payroll colleagues, how much are you getting paid and YOE? I’m a new pay admin with less than a year of experience in Hawaii and I feel like I am underpaid for the amount of work I do. Aside from processing payroll, I also do HR related work, specifically benefits and leave management and the amount of work is sometimes too much for me. I don’t know if it’s the fact that I’m new to the job or if the work is really too much because it’s overwhelming.

Going through a rough patch, mental-health wise. I have always been a high performer and dont back down from challenges. But this past month something feels off in my head and I have 0% motivation for anything at the moment. Brief run down: work-stress, meeting expectations, fear of failure, imposter-syndrome, negative self-image (probably from all the time I spend on IG… might need therapy. 🥲
I don’t know what went wrong, but I don’t think I’m the only one to have felt this. Sorry for the sads!

What do you miss about your job that can’t be done WFH? I miss 1) client and meetings with opposing counsel to discuss high-stakes transactions where everyone’s dressed to the nines and do “serious business”; 2) expensive lunches; 3) happy hours and 4) wearing my suits. None of that is coming back before 2021 (probably not only the meetings, but the transactions are going away too...) Glad I still have my job though.
