Just do 1 year as senior, get your cpa and start looking. That's all the qualification you need. Use your network, linkedin recruiters and linkedin job postings to search. It's not hard - just takes work.
Yeah totally right. Thank you EY1!!
You don’t even need to be a senior to be a financial analyst. Look for jobs rn or your probably wasting your time. I just landed a financial analyst job at a F100 company with 1 year of experience.
Make sure to highlight any analytical things you have done in your job even if that’s not what you do 100% of the time. You HAVE TO tailor your resume to the specific job description you’re looking at. If you’re trying to go into a financial analyst position they don’t care that you ticked and tied support, but they would care about the quarterly flux analysis you completed for a $6 B publicly traded company. Start working on CFA, while applying now, should take a year or so to finish or less
