Hey everyone… would love some career advice cause I’m lost… I currently work as a SFA for a CPG company in FP&A… i do a lot… get amazing visibility and I love my boss…but I’m just getting tired of the work and feel like I’m getting underpaid for my efforts (85K in MD for 3 years experience) what should I do?
Should leverage my clout for another internal role
Or decide to leave primarily for more money… I see progression and feel like leaving would make me start all

I’m trying to get a Financial Analyst position and I heard back from Deloitte for the EFA (Enganemnt Financial analyst) role. I have no experience as an analyst so I figured this could be good way for me to break in. Does anyone have any experience from this practice? Salary/wlb/career path. I figure at the very least I can use the it for good foot in the door and a decent exit opp, as I know big 4 is notoriously a 2-3 year gig

7/66/Ins with 7+ YOE in financial services. My current commute and lack of growth ops have me looking. I’d prefer remote, and no longer client-facing in new role.
I interviewed for a role that was advertised 100% remote, but learned it will require flying out of state quarterly - totaling 12-14 days/yr, likely due to a sales training component. Is this super common with remote positions?
Wish all employers would list travel requirements. Seeking fully remote or 1 annual conference max

Have a finance interview with a hedge fund for a tech role and have nearly no knowledge of finance. Need to learn the basics of financial instruments, asset classes, market risk, etc. Best place to learn this stuff within a week?

I work as a corporate financial analyst for a growth stage company. Have been in this role for about 1.5 years but during the last months, due to change of CFOs, I had to assume key responsibilities to the point where they asked me not to go on vacation. Currently making 53k a year and getting offers to move to more interesting projects (and almost double the salary!) Problem is I have a meeting next week to talk about my future in my current company and get offer a raise. How should I face it?

Has anybody interviewed at Titan Capital management for a Brokerage compliance Analyst role ? What should i expect from a first round interview with the CLO?

Working at Vanguard as a Senior Accountant with my CPA. I’m bored of doing the same thing every month/quarter. If I were to try to pivot to FP&A would it be more of the same? I’m not necessarily expecting to be able to get an internal transfer although it is doable. Just trying to research next steps to research because I’m not feeling challenged in my role.

I have an offer in PE VP role in Citco and JPM and I am at cross road on which company to choose. Their pay is very similar but JPM is offering an attractive signing on bonus. I need a honest advise on which is better between these two firms.

I had a job interview at JP Morgan about 2 Fridays ago. Haven’t heard anything back from HR or the hiring manager. How long does this process normally take? Should I assume I didn’t get it.

I’m lined up for a promotion to AM in April but I know that my WLB will be even worse when that happens.
