I worked in my current organization for 6 years. After resigning I claimed gratuity from them. But we didn't have a gratuity component shown in our CTC and company is saying since we didn't deduct gratuity from your salary it is already paid with your salary. Can they do that? To find out the "In-hand salary", divide your fixed CTC by 14... You will get your in-hand salary around that.
Please comment on your thoughts if it's the right formula.
Or advise to get it.
