Are thank you emails for your interviewers a must? I had a stress interview which was awkward and feel kinda weird sending them a thank you note lol cuz I know they were trying to scare me

Looking for recommendations on a good book/resource on how to manage people, especially when you’re managing teams to achieve tight deadlines and also overall leadership for those teams. Currently on a project with tight regulatory deadlines and feel like I’m struggling to push people without pissing them off. Great learning curve for me and a good read seems timely. TIA!

Should I leave my company? Been here 1.5 years and was told I was getting a management promotion 5-6 months ago.Still no solid traction and they are opening up a req for it 😑no one on the current sales team has ever been promoted (2 years)except our boss who has been promoted 3 times. We hit quote every month/q/year by a lot. I have several offers at double my OTE. Already asked what the timeline is for a new manager and I was told soon and I'm "up for consideration." We just won a project and in curious… I hear the vendor onboarding / setup is lengthy and “intense” but would love to know how long it takes and what do they need from you that makes it “intense?”

Question: an employee was asked by his boss for same day turn around on responses/deliverables on a days he requested PTO. He completed the work. The manager wants to know if she can still deduct PTO time for the days requested, even though he completed work on those days. Help.
