Hello, which is more beneficial Master’s in Human Resources or PHR Certification?

Has anyone here have experience working in a SDR or AE role focus on LATAM (spanish speaker)? Spanish is my first language and I would like to explore that market. Any thoughts? Thank

I start my new job December 5th. Although the majority of offices are located in the State of New York the corporate office is located in Toronto Canada. I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.

I’ve learned my boss is moving on to new opportunities, and there isn’t any plan to refill their role, which will leave me as an HR team of one. I don’t have the experience to fully take on all the work, but plan to give it my all.

Looking to join one of the top SAAS companie (Salesforce ,workday etc) in the new year .

I am prepared to take a step back and go back into SDR/BDR. My question is , what is a reasonable time frame until I am promoted to an AE? Assuming I will be a good performer and hit quotas.

I have heard many different answers, speaking to friends of mine in the industry . Please keep in mind I want to be working at one of the larger SAAS companies not necessarily start ups .

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
