Go. Now. Big D will crush your soul while you reach for these fabled “learning opportunities”
I appreciate the jaded and unjaded perspective. It really has been a solid time here, but I’ve come to realize from talking to others that the level of care and concern starts to dissipate at the C and SC levels.
Everything you said about the B4 except the low comp is bs
Boomerang back to B4 in 2 years with greater experience gained from wearing many hats and a higher previous pay. You’ll be able to command and a higher salary or tighter.
Larger companies tend to trade salary for name recognition on your resume in the first few years of your career. Looking at you Goldman Sachs paying new grads 40-60k
You will not make 110 at a boutique coming from D as an analyst - no chance
Sounds like OP has an offer, not just saying their ambitions for the next role.
Even if not, I’d encourage them - 100+ might be ambitious but reasonable especially since we don’t know when city they’re in.
